One-On-One Personal Training for Athlete

“I have been training with Stacey for more than 3 years. As a longtime Marathon runner and athlete I found myself with ongoing injuries, frequently needing Physio. After my second pregnancy, I met Stacey in a interdisciplinary “return to fitness” program who helped rebuild my core, foundational fitness, and helped increase my mobility. Since then, I have been running injury free and also have improved strength and functional fitness thanks to her expertise, experience and profound knowledge of fitness.

Stacey is kind, compassionate, humorous, encouraging, and approaches fitness with a quite, but confident passion.

Her strength is her intuitive ability to push her clients when it will help make improvements in fitness, and to also pull back when it will do more damage than good; striking an excellent balance that helps continually advance your fitness. Her workouts are always dynamic and interesting with a greater goal in mind. Her instruction is impeccable; even during the pandemic she was able to effectively explain and demonstrate movements over ZOOM! ...And some of the movements are advanced and a bit complicated for a runner who spends most time running in a line.

Custom Training Programs for Athletes

“Prior to working with Stacey, I was building my own workouts and constantly felt as though I was not getting everything I could from these programs. The main causes for this are that I lack of understanding all the little things I need to be doing to improve at my sport, as well as the perspective to see what is and is not helping.

From working with Stacey, I have found that my endurance in all of my swim/bike/run activities has greatly increased. Her focus on a lot of stabilizer muscles - in coordination with some of the traditional bigger lifts - have really helped me progress in my triathlon trainings and have been a major help to keeping me healthy while improving my half marathon time by 5 min in less than a year, increasing my bike power by 70w and improving my 1.5km swim time by 18 min. At the same time, I think the biggest benefit that Stacey has provided is in an increased focus on flexibility for workout warmups/cool downs as well as a weekly mobility session which has helped me tremendously as I am traditionally very inflexible.

In a word I feel CONFIDENT. I know that working with Stacey has greatly helped me hit all the milestones I have put in place on my athletic journey towards some big goals in 2023, and I look forward to continuing that journey with her in the years to come.

When creating goals for yourself - in terms of competitive sports, or just becoming more active - your limited knowledge alone on what to do can be a determent to achieving your goals. Thus, it is absolutely necessary to surround yourself with the right people to support both you and your goals. In the past year of working with Stacey she has proven to be the a great addition to my support team on my athletic journey by helping develop my understanding of S&C, discussing nutrition and talking through some of the niggles I have dealt with in that time.
